What is the check in procedure/arrival windows for FastPass+? I notice that there's a large arrival window (for example, "arrive between 9:50-10:50AM") and I'm trying to figure out how long we'll actually be at/on the ride.

    Hi Joanna!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your FastPass+ arrival window means you can check-in to get in the FastPass+ line anytime in that one hour window.  This is just a way to give you a little bit of flexibility on getting there.

Once you check-in, you will be put into the FastPass+ line, which is different than the standby line.  They will check your Magic Band at the very front of the attraction before you get in line, and again right before the two lines merge.  They make sure everyone in that line does, indeed, have a valid FastPass+ reservation.

As a general rule, the FastPass+ line will be significantly shorter than the standby line.  Usually, you can expect to wait around 10-15 minutes going through the FastPass+ line.  The line could be longer, though, if the attraction has experienced a brief shutdown that backed the line up, or something similar to that.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan for your magical vacation.
