Hi! How can I check to see if someone is a real and legitimate authorized seller of disney park tickets? Thank you!!

Hi, Sheng! I have friends often ask me this same question. One thing you do not want to try to limit too much when planning your vacation is your theme park ticket budget. Purchasing your tickets directly from Disney is really the only way of being assured easy access to all of the magic! There are several great authorized Disney tickets sellers, but if you see one that claims to be so and offers a deal too good to be true, it likely is not up to par. There is no way to really tell for sure, but there are several things I look at to gauge whether or not the ticket company can be trusted.

    * I recommend you research the company that is offering the tickets. If there are LOTS of happy customers and they look to have been in business for a while, then maybe consider them. You can also check with Better Business Bureau for any claims against them. I have seen lots of ticket offers on Ebay, Craigslist, and Facebook groups. Tickets sold on those sites worry me because you really have no idea exactly who or what company with whom you are dealing.

    * As I said before, if the deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. Anything more than a 15% discount and I would question it. From what I understand, authorized sellers are not able to offer discounted One-Day theme park tickets. Also, tickets are nontransferable, so never purchase partially used tickets.

    * Look to reputable websites that list authorized Disney ticket sellers that they trust. Mousesavers.com is a website I often use for research and they have a great list of reputable ways to get ticket discounts.

Sheng, be sure to check with your employer to see if they offer ticket discounts through employee benefits. If you are a member of your local automobile association, most of them also offer discounted tickets. Wishing you lots of pixie dust in your planning! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
