We like to check in online prior to our arrival to minimize registration. Want to hit the theme park right away and check in hotel after. Is it possible to request connecting room online?

    Hi, Linda!
I like the way you think! When my family arrives at the Walt Disney World Resort, we are always ready to hit the ground running so the magic begins as soon as we step foot on property! Disney makes it very easy these days with having everything connected to the MagicBand!
I'm glad you asked this question because on my last few visits we have enjoyed using the Online Check-In available in My Disney Experience. The option to check-in online becomes available 60 days prior to your arrival, and there is a spot for requests in which you can put in for connecting rooms. The hotel will do their best to make this happen, but these types of requests cannot be guaranteed. I have found that it helps if you only put in one request and arrive early if your schedule allows. These are tips that have worked for me so my fingers are crossed that they work for you as well. On your arrival day, you'll receive a text message to inform you that your resort rooms are ready. This may happen on your way to the resort, but if not, you can always leave your carry-on luggage with Bell Services before heading out to the parks.
Since you've chosen December to visit, you'll be in for an extra magical time with all the holiday happenings around the resort! You'll want to plan time to take in all the dazzling and festive decor that makes the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort like no other! The magic will be endless, Linda!
Good luck with your request and finalizing all your vacation plans. Please write back if we can answer any additional questions about your stay. We are always happy to help!
    Have a wonderful day!
