    Monica from FL Asked

When is the cheapest time to go on a Disney cruise?

    Hi there, Monica!

    Thanks for checking in!

Like most travel options, cruising is generally less expensive in the "off-seasons": think about times when the children are in school, and there aren't any "major" holidays on the near horizon.

January and early February are ideal, and this is my favorite season to take a Disney cruise with the family. This is considered "Value Season."

From mid-February through April, rates spike up due to the high number of Spring Break travelers who head to the Caribbean (and other ports of call) for some fun in the sun. This is considered "Peak Season."

During May, you can find some deals before summer vacations kick into gear.

June-August is considered "Regular Season," and rates tend to fall somewhere between "Peak" and "Value".

Late fall - think September and October - are also great times to sail, with lots of specials made available.

And November-December sees rates rise again as Guests come celebrate the holidays with their favorite characters.

Two of the moms here on the Panel are ready and able to answer any of all of your cruise questions: Marisol and Nancy can help with just about any planning queries you might have. And of course, I'm always delighted to assist in making your vacation practically perfect in every way"!

    See you later, celebrator,
