cheapest way to do disney parks

Hey there, Natalie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Visiting Walt Disney World will be one of the best investments that you could make for your family. The memories that you will make are going to be priceless.

One way to save on a Disney vacation is to visit during the least popular times of the year. So avoid traveling during the summer months or holidays such as Christmas and New Year's Eve. Theme park ticket prices will be more during those times, as well as resort room rates. If you can travel just after the first of the year between the second or third week of January until mid-March, you will avoid the peak season. Also, travel during September and October are a good time too.

Another way to save on your Disney vacation is to stay in the Orlando area and not at a Walt Disney World resort. Try reserving a room at one of the Good Neighbor hotels near Disney. You'll find less expensive room rates that offer breakfast complimentary, as well as free transportation to the theme parks. These Good Neighbor hotels also have some of the benefits of staying at one of the Walt Disney World resorts, such as being able to reserve your FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance as if you're staying on property.

Also, having a ticket to one of the exclusive events on property such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a bit less expensive than buying a theme park ticket depending on the time of year that you visit. You won't be able to be in the Magic Kingdom for a full day, but you'll be able to see this iconic theme park in its splendor and glory with holiday lights and events.

My family also saves by purchasing Disney gift cards whenever we are at our local grocers. We stock up on those, and this helps us to save on our Disney vacation. If you purchase a Magic Your Way vacation package which includes your theme park tickets, Disney resort room reservation, and the optional dining plan, you'll only need $200 to secure your vacation. You can then make payments on it as you please. Just be sure to pay your balance off 45 days before your check-in date.

Have the most magical time planning your Disney vacation. If you have more planning questions, please stop by and visit with us again soon!
