Do the same characters walk around each day or do they change each day? Do other characters appear the next day?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ria!

Meeting characters at the Disneyland Resort is one of my daughter's favorite activities. We always end our vacations with an autograph book (or two!) full of signatures. In my experience, there are some characters that you can count on meeting every day and others that are a pleasant surprise to bump into. You can always find Mickey and Minnie meeting Guests in their respective houses in Mickey's Toontown, up to three princesses at Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire, Chewbacca and Darth Vader in Star Wars Launch Bay, and Captain America Spider-Man in Disney California Adventure Park.

One of my favorite things about the Disneyland Resort, however, is that many characters freely roam the parks without any published schedule or location. Gaston occasionally struts around Fantasyland, Flik can sometimes be found in "a bug's land," and I've also almost literally ran into Sully from Monsters, Inc. in Hollywood Land. The Disneyland app will be your best tool for finding your favorite friends while you are in the parks. I like to switch to the list view to find specific characters which will be listed in alphabetical order. But certainly keep your eyes open as you tour the parks because you may just see a familiar face that you weren't expecting.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
