What characters typically show up at the Garden Grove Character Dining at the Swan Hotel? Thanks

    Hi Gina!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I have such fond memories of dining with my daughter at Garden Grove at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. On the first evening of her very first visit to Walt Disney World, we decided to kick off our vacation with a Character Meal. We were staying at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, so it was just a short walk over to Garden Grove.

I'll never forget how her face lit up as Goofy approached our table and gave her a big hug. He danced with her and made her giggle with his crazy antics! She was four years old, and completely in awe of every moment of our Disney vacation. Her first interaction with one of her favorite Disney Characters was one I'll always remember!

I also remember the delicious buffet, which is amazing, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant is gorgeous, and is based on New York City's gardens in Central Park. A giant oak tree stands as the centerpiece of the dining room!

When dining at Garden Grove, you'll have a chance to meet at least two Characters during your meal. The characters most likely to appear are two of the following: Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale. Make sure to have your camera and autograph books on hand when they stop by your table for a visit! Please note: Character appearances are subject to change.

I hope this helps answer your question, and I hope you enjoy your meal at Garden Grove! - Diane W.
