Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest

Which character meal do you think a group of adults would enjoy the most? We are mostly all in our mid-20's and our my husbands 40 something parents! Also what about a little classier meal, no characters? Thanks!

I had the opportunity to dine among royalty last December during our Moms Panel training trip.  My fellow panelists and I enjoyed a charming lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table one afternoon and while the princesses were primped and present, there wasn't a single child in our group.  I think I can safely speak for all of us when I tell you that we had a fabulous time.  I find Cinderella's Royal Table to be one of the more refined character meals, though that's not to say that children who visit don't equally enjoy the experience.  The atmosphere in the castle, though, is not as hectic as some of the other character meals.  If I were to choose a character dining experience perfect for a group of adults, this would be my number one choice.

As for a restaurant that will really dazzle your family, I highly recommend Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  My husband, my sister-in-law, and I had the opportunity to spend an evening away from the kids during our last trip and we chose to try dinner at Jiko.  I can't tell you how impressed we were with both the service and the food.  We did a lot of "tasting" off of each other's plates and each of our three meals were fabulous.  They also offer an impressive wine list with some very unique South African wines.  You won't be sorry if you give it a try!
