Is there a character meal with the Star Wars characters? We will be traveling to WDW with a 12 yr old grandson in Nov, and are hoping to find some more "boy" things for him to enjoy. Thank you!

    Hello Patti,

While the characters that we know and love from Star Wars are in full force around Walt Disney World Resort, it isn't yet possible to dine with our favorite Jedi.

That said, I know you will find countless ways to enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort visit with your tween! Is he adventurous? If so, he would love Wild Africa Trek, a chance to get up close to the wildlife on this three-hour private guided experience though Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. A private photographer even accompanies your group to capture all of these incredible moments.

Does your grandson have a need for speed? Create and test your own car with Test Track. There is also a mountain range to explore. I would suggest that you schedule your FastPass+ selections with these larger attractions in mind. Check out Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Expedition Everest. Then, blast off with NASA-style training in Mission: SPACE. Finally, he could explore downtown Hollywood on Rock' n 'Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith or experience the the elevator ride of a lifetime on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. He won't soon forget any of these experiences!

If he is a big Star Wars fan, definitely plan to spend some time at Star Wars Launch Bay. He can encounter a serious villain, trade with a Jawa, and greet a certain lovable wookie. Also, check out memorabilia from the epic series. After, head on over for an out-of-this-world ride on Star Tours -The Adventure continues.

I hope that helps you get started, Patti! Please let us know how else we can help.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally

I would be thrilled to sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on your next unforgettable vacation. Learn More About Sally
