How many character dinings are too many for a 5 night/6 day trip? I currently have 3 breakfasts booked (Chef Mickey's, Ashkersus & Safari @ AK) plus I have Park Place booked for a dinner. Is that too many for my almost 3 year old?

    Hi Andrea!

On a 5-night stay, I would stick with about 3 or 4 character meals, and no more. It shouldn't be too much for the kids, but the adults may suffer at the end :-) You may get to the point where you just want to eat in peace and quiet and not be "surprised" with too many characters at your table...

We did the Deluxe Dining Plan last year, with a number of character meals. It seemed as if our entire trip was dictated off where we had to eat vs. what we should enjoy...

The rule of thumb we use is: Make character dining reservations for those characters we just HAVE to get pictures with. One huge advantage to the character meals is that they come to you, vs. you running them down in all the Meet and Greet's.

Hope that helps. May you and family have a terrific time!
