What character dining would you suggest for two boys 5 and 12 years of age? Looking for something that my 12 year old would enjoy also. THANKS!!

For an older child, I have two suggestion for character dining: the Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom and the Garden Grill at Epcot.

The Tusker house is right next to the Kilimanjaro Safari ride (an attraction that truly works for all ages). The food is served buffet style. There are plenty of "safe" food options for younger children (waffles and eggs at breakfast, etc.), but there are also a number of unique African dishes for an older of more adventurous eater to explore. My 11-year-old daughter sampled a number of new foods at the Tusker house during out last visit and she was pleasantly surprised at the new tastes she enjoyed.

The Garden Grill is a bit calmer than many of the other character meals. There is no parading around the restaurant or napkin-waving that might embarrass and older child. Many of the tables are in semi-circular booths that give each party a good deal of privacy. The most fun thing about this restaurant is that it actually moves. The entire restaurant is on a giant turntable that rotates. During the course of a typical hour-long meal, you will make an entire revolution, allowing you to see many different scenes from the Living with the Land ride below you. This experience alone is worth the trip.

Hope you have some wonderful meals!
