Chaperoning my daughters HS choir group trip and will be there 3/22-3/28. Not staying on property and we have 3 students, including my daughter, turning 16. Is there a way I can get buttons or something for them to recognize their birthdays? If so, how?

    Hi Jennifer,

How exciting for your daughter to get to spend her birthday at Walt Disney World with her friends and choir-mates!

The Happy Birthday buttons are free and available at guest relations at any of the parks. At the Magic Kingdom, they are available at a cart in front of City Hall, just inside the front gate. The cast members manning the cart have markers you can use to decorate the buttons with their names or Sweet 16.

Wearing the buttons garners attention from cast members and other guests and, often, special treats. I've seen those wearing buttons get free dessert or a song or other recognition.

Have a wonderful time with all those young people! And wish your daughter Happy Birthday from the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions. Enjoy!
