How do I change the character under the friends and family list?

    Hi Carol!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A part of the fun for an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation is the planning and I love logging in and seeing Minnie Mouse's smiling face next to my name!

To change your own character, there are two different ways, one from a desktop and one from the My Disney Experience mobile app. If you are on a computer, you'll first want to log in to your My Disney Experience account. Once you have signed in you'll want to hover over the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right hand corner, a menu should pop up and on the top you should see your first name with a blue Profile link under it. When you click on this a new page should populate with your full name and a link that says Change Character

From the My Disney Experience Mobile App, you'll also want to login to your account and in the bottom right hand corner you should see three stacked bars. If you click on these it will take you to a very similar looking page with the option to Change Character

If you want to change the character for someone you manage plans for, on the mobile app when you are on the same screen to change yours, you should see at the top the option for My Profile or Family & Friends List. If you click on the Family & Friends List you can scroll down and click on someone that says Plans Managed by Me. If you click on an individuals name, it should take you to another screen to change their character! From a desktop, under the main My Disney Experience menu you'll click on Family & Friends and next to their name click the Update link.

I hope this helps bring a little extra Disney magic to your planning process! Come back if you have any other questions.
