What are the chances I make it to a 9:05PM reservation at Mk's Dessert Party if I have a 7pm reservation at epcot's Coral Reef? Guess I'm wondering how long dinner usually lasts. There will only be 3 of us.

    Hi Gerri,

You can expect that a dinner at Coral Reef will take an hour to an hour and a half, depending on how much and how many courses you order. I'm guessing that with a reservation for a dessert party, you won't be eating dessert at the restaurant, so you should be on the shorter end of the estimate. It will take about half an hour to get from the Coral Reef to the Magic Kingdom via monorail. I think the odds are quite good that you could make it the dessert party on time.

To give yourself a better shot at meeting your goal, I would try to show up at the Coral Reef about half an hour early. They'll do their best to seat you as soon as possible, and if you are seated early, this will give you even more of a buffer in case you run into a transportation glitch or something similar.

Good luck with you planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
