Is there a certain night on a 3 night cruise that kids dress up in fancy clothes or like princesses (other than pirate night night)?

Welcome back, Karen! Do you and your family have a countdown started for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation yet? What magic you have in store!

The Disney Dream's three night sailings do not include a Formal Night, as many of Disney's longer sailings do. However, the last night onboard is an Optional Dress-Up Night, so if you and the kiddos are bringing "fancy" clothes, that's the night to wear them. However, no need to do so, if you'd prefer to say cruise casual throughout the entire sailing, since it's completely optional. Now, as far as princess dresses, you'll see little girls twirling about in their favorite princess gowns from morning to night each and every day of the sailing, so if your granddaughters have princess dresses, bring them! Of course, the Optional Dress-Up Night is a great time to wear them, but also to the Princess Gathering, if you get tickets to that in advance during online check-in. Or, when they see a favorite princess will be out to greet guests (check your Personal Navigator onboard or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the times and locations of all Character Greetings). We treasure the memories we have of my daughter running into Snow White in the hall after our little princess had a royal makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard. The fabulous Fairy Godmothers-in-training there made her over into Snow White: new dress, hair, nails, makeup and all. When she saw Snow White later that day, the two of them skipped and twirled around together, admiring their matching gowns. Memories and photos to treasure forever!

So, yes, bring princess gowns for the girls, or purchase new ones onboard, or even sign them up for a magical makeover in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Karen! So many options! Have such fun planning!
