Is there certain days you should go to certain parks?

    Hi Kelley,

If you are staying as a guest in a Disney resort, I suggest you choose the park you attend each day by the availability of Extra Magic Hours.  This is a time, either at the beginning or end of each day, when one of the main Disney theme parks is open only to guests staying in a Disney resort.  This is a fabulous time to explore a Disney theme park when lines to attractions are shorter than the rest of the day.  I always plan my vacation around Extra Magic Hours schedules.

You can find which parks have Extra Magic Hours by visiting www.disneyworld.com and then selecting one of the theme parks from the "parks" pull-down menu.  Once the page for that park opens, choose "calendar" from the lower left side of the screen.  Then set the calendar to the month of your visit.  A full listing of Extra Magic Hours will appear for that park.  Then simply repeat the process for the other three parks.  You'll have a tentative itinerary in no time!

If you'd like one of us here at the Moms Panel to help you map out your days, just submit a follow-up question with your dates of travel.  We'd be happy to put together a possible itinerary for you.  Just be sure to let us know how many days you plan to spend in the parks and whether or not you have the park-hopper option on your theme park tickets.

Best of luck to you as you plan your magical Disney adventure!
