We're celebrating my wife's 40th birthday this year. She actually shares the same birthday as Disney World - Oct 1st 1971. We will be down there in August with the family. What are some of your suggestions for me to best celebrate?

Super cool that your wife shares her birthday with Walt Disney World!  I was just there & they have lots of 40th Anniversary merchandise starting to pop up. www.disneystore.com also has some WDW 40th Anniversary theme park authentic merchandise available online so you can get the party started now!

There are so many wonderful things you could do to celebrate. Contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Department. They can help with an in-room celebration or a special delivery to a dining location. Visit them online at www.disneyflorist.com or call 407-827-3505.

Take a romantic horse drawn carriage ride at Fort Wilderness or the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Call 407-WDW-PLAY to book.

If you make any advanced dining reservations (ADRs) at any of the awesome dining locations on property, be sure to tell mention that you'll be celebrating her birthday when booking. Let me know if you need some suggestions. You can order a special birthday cake by calling 407-827-2253.  ADRs are required & cakes must be ordered at least 48 hours prior to your reservation.

You can also book a special experience like the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. Reservations can be made online by clicking on the link shown or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Attending a performance of La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil is always a great way to spend the evening. After all, the English translation is "to party, to live it up".

Give her the gift of relaxation at one of Disney's incredible spas. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
