We will be celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary and our daughter's 2nd birthday during our visit to WDW and have made reservations at CRT, Coral Reef and Princess Storybook Dinner at Akershus. Which would be better for b-day and anniversary and why?

    Hello Desiree,

I might not be too popular with many folks after I give my opinion on this question, I'll tell you why!  I think for a 2nd birthday, Cinderella's Royal Table would be a fantastic Dining experience.  I ate there with my mom and my daughter (my daughter was celebrating her 7th birthday!), it was one of our best dining experiences and one we will never forget!  The MAGIC of eating in Cinderella's Castle, my daughter receiving a magic wand, having the table decorated specially for her birthday, and to get a special "Happy Birthday" greeting from the Fairy Godmother herself!  also incredible cuisine. guess you have figured out by now, my opinion is "Birthday" at Cinderella's Royal Table.

Now on to the "Anniversary".  I am quite partial to the Coral Reef restaurant, as the atmosphere here (in my opinion) is incredible.  If your daughter will be with you during your anniversary dinner, there is more than enough for her to do here, (looking at a huge tank full of fish, turtles, sharks...and the list goes on and on, coloring sheet with fun facts about different Marine life, etc...and crayons).  A diver may even swim past your table with a "Happy Anniversary" note for you and your husband!!!!  To top it all off, some of the best food I have had!!!

Now, to the part where I am unpopular, Akershus (Princess Storybook Dinner) at the Norwegian pavilion in Epcot.  Great if you are going for the princesses, not good (in my opinion) for the actual cuisine part.  I did not enjoy the style of food and variety that was served very much, not really the 5 star rating that I give the other two, (I am not saying it is bad, just that I prefer the "quality" of the other two dining experiences more).  Now I will go and hide in a corner!  Good luck.
