Hi Laura:
That is some special birthday event planned. I have a five year old and a three year old who would be more than thrilled to have this day planned for their birthdays.
Between two special meals, a dessert party and fireworks, I wouldn't think of booking more events, especially if you want to enjoy some Park time on this special day. I would, however, stop by City Hall at the Magic Kingdom, or at guest relations at other parks, and pick up a birthday button. Many Cast Members will go out of their way to wish your son a Happy Birthday or greet him with a kind gesture to make the day more memorable. Also consider contacting the Dream Makers at
Disney Floral and Gifts online or at (407) WDW-GIFT or (407) 939-4438. They can help pick out the perfect Disney-themed birthday gift for your son. You can also buy your son a simple treat, like a balloon or bag of popcorn on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, which will likely put a huge smile on his face.
Remember to follow your son's pace and enjoy this special day.
