We Will Be Celebrating My Daughters 3Rd Birthday @WDW. We Arrive 2 Days Before Her BDay, But Will Not Be Staying At An Official WDW Resort. Will I Need To Purchase A Ticket For Her?

    Hi Roosevelt,

What a wonderful way to celebrate a third birthday! Everyone in my family has celebrated at least one birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort. Of course, my husband holds the record since his birthday is during Marathon weekend in January and he loves to run at Disney.

The purchasing of any ticket is not dependent on where you are staying. Disney offers many different ticket options so whether you are on property or not, you will always have options to fit your particular stay.

The choice is up to you on this one. The two days prior to her birthday, you will not need a ticket. Disney will probably not ask you for a ticket after either once you enter the parks once she is three.

It would be your preference to enter the park with or without the ticket.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
