Celebrating my daughter's 10th birthday staying 7 days at the all star music resort. I am so overwhelmed with the amount of planning. I don't want to miss anything but I really don't know what I'm doing...help me

    Hi Ranike,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be planning your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. I know that it can be overwhelming.

First, you need to create a My Disney Experience account. Add each member of your party to your "Friends and Family List." Once they are added to your account, you will be able to make Dining Reservations and Fast Pass+ Reservations for them.

Second, decide which parks you will visit on each day (based on the number of days you have valid theme park admission). Doing so will help you make dining and Fast Pass+ reservations. If you have park hopper tickets, you have more flexibility.

Third, make your dining reservations. These can be made 180 days in advance. If you are within that window, go ahead and make those dining reservations now. Our girls love Character Meals. The characters come visit each family at their table. Your daughter just needs to have her autograph book ready with a large pen (easier for Mickey to grip).

Fourth, when you are 60 days prior to the trip, book your Fast Pass+ reservations for each day. You can pre-book up to three rides per day. Once you click on the Fast Pass+ icon in the My Disney Experience site, you will be able to pull up the Fast Pass+ options for the park you plan to visit on each day and you can select Fast Pass+ options for each family member.

Finally, although the My Disney Experience account will track all of your reservations, I also keep a separate chart on paper. I organize it by day of the week.

    Happy Planning!
