Hi, we are celebrating my daughters 18th birthday in Magic Kingdom. Do you have any tips or suggestions to make the trip the best it could be for her birthday? Thank you for all of your help!

Hi Amber! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate your daughter’s 18th birthday than at the Walt Disney World Resort. One of the things that we love to do when celebrating a birthday at Disney is go to guest services for a Birthday button! It is a lot of fun to receive birthday wishes from Cast Members and park goers.

I would suggest taking your daughter for a nice table service meal. Some of my favorite places at Magic Kingdom Park are Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella’s Royal Table. Dining reservations are highly recommended and can be made starting 180 days prior to your arrival date.

Have you been to the Walt Disney World Resort with your daughter before? If so then I bet you have a story to tell. Did you soar on Dumbo the Flying Elephant together or take a spin on Prince Charming Regal Carousel when she was younger? If so relieve and recreate that moment! Take her on some of these attractions and tell her the story and what you remember most. Give her a photo of that favorite moment and memory and then take a new photo together. Sharing these moments together will make for some great new memories.

Indulge in some tasty treats together. Dole Whips, Funnel cake, Churros, are some of my favorites and they make me feel like a kid again. The best way to make this experience extra magical is to just spend time together! Take your time, slow down, let the magic engulf you and that is when the best memories will be made!

Happy 18th Birthday to your daughter! I hope you have an unforgettable time!
