We will be celebrating my DS b-day (Oct. 28) by having breakfast at Cape May and then attending the Halloween party. I was told when making reservations for bkfst to get a pin before-hand. Without actually going into a park, where can I get a pin?

I assume that you're talking about a free "Today is My Birthday" button. This is nice, but it is certainly not mandatory. The button just is a quick way to tell your servers (and everyone else) that you're celebrating your son's special day. You can also accomplish this by simply telling the host/hostess at the restaurant podium and your server at the meal.

However, if you do want to have the birthday button, you could get it at any theme park guest relations office or at most theme park ticket windows at any point during your trip (like the day before the birthday). The birthday buttons are also available at the guest relations desks or check-in desks at the WDW resorts. Ask at your hotel or at the Beach Club to see if they have a button for you.

Hope you all have a great trip.
