Cathy-Hi! You mentioned the airline check-in at the resorts. We are 16pl. booked United seperate from res. at AOA.Please tell me how and when we need to check our bags at AOA. Flight leaves MCO at 1:45. Do they weigh them there? Thank-you

    Hi, Cheryl!

Thanks for following up with me!  I am certainly happy to help get all the details of your vacation all in order.

Checking in for my flight home has become hassle free thanks to Resort Airline Check-In Service.  It is absolutely one of my favorite perks of staying at a Disney Resort.

Checking in at the resort is the same as checking in at the airport.  Each adult must present a photo ID and then will receive their boarding passes and can check bags.  The employees work for the airlines and will weigh your bags for you and tag them with their destination.

To use this service you MUST check in at least 3 hours prior to your flight departure time.  I have seen guests turned away if even just a few minutes past that 3 hour window, so do this with plenty of cushion time.

Each party should go do their own check in just as they would at the airport.  Once you are all checked in, you can enjoy the last few hours of your magical vacation.  If you are taking the Magical Express to the airport, you will receive a note in your room the day before your departure with your motorcoach pick-up time which is usually 3 hours prior to your flight departure time.  Once you arrive at the airport, you can head straight to security with your boarding passes.

I hope you find the Airline Check-In Service helpful!  I just love dumping my bags and not worrying about them until I reach my home airport.  As you continue your final trip details, let me know if I can help!
