Disney's Magical Express transportation

If I only do carry-on luggage, and we go right to the park- can we "check" our bags with the magical express bus, or do we need to go to our hotel first?

    Hi there, Vicki!

I love that you are planning to make the most of every minute of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation by heading to one of the theme parks very soon after your arrival in Orlando. Taking Disney's Magical Express is a great way to start the fun a few moments after your plane touches down at Orlando International Airport. If you tag your checked luggage (if you change your mind and choose to bring some) at your home airport before boarding the plane, you don't need to gather it at the baggage carousel upon your arrival in Orlando. That will definitely save you some time.

Because the Disney's Magical Express motor coach you will board on floor 1 of terminal B at Orlando International Airport does not go to the theme parks, you'll need to head to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel first. However, there's no need to check in immediately upon arrival at your hotel. If you have backpacks or other light carry-on bags that can be taken into the theme parks, you can disembark Disney's Magical Express at your hotel and then immediately board complimentary Disney transportation to the theme park of your choice. If you prefer to leave your carry-on bags with Bell Services at your hotel, that's fine too. They'll give you a claim check for your belongings and off you may go to have fun wherever on property you wish.

So, where are you heading first? Are you looking to "play big" in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios? Or is a visit to Pandora - The World of Avatar first on your agenda? Maybe you have an advance dining reservation in one of the amazing restaurants at World Showcase in Epcot. Whatever you have planned, enjoy every minute!

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
