Are cargo shorts appropriate for signature restaurants? I am not talking about the ones with the big ballooning pockets, but those with pockets pressed and flat on the legs. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Michael!

The Walt Disney World dress code policy for restaurants is extremely casual.

For the Signature Dining experiences, a few restaurants located in the WDW Resorts, have an official dress code. For men, khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts and collared shirts are appropriate. Sport coats are optional. The items that aren't permitted are tank tops, swimwear, hats, cut offs or torn clothing. T-shirts shouldn't have any offensive language.

At all of the Signature Dining experiences, EXCEPT Victoria & Albert's, khaki cargo shorts would be appropriate.

However, at Victoria & Alberts there is a more stringent dress code and cargo shorts wouldn't be appropriate. At Victoria & Alberts most men will wear suits or sport jackets. Men should wear dinner jackets with dress pants/slacks and shoes. Ties are optional, but jeans, shorts, sandals, flip-flops and tennis shoes are not acceptable.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
