Greetings, Jennifer!
I’m a huge advocate of introducing youngsters to the parks at an early age – there’s nothing more special than experiencing Disney magic through their eyes!
As for ticket pricing, I have good news – children younger than age 3 don’t require a ticket! Ticket categories start at ages 3-9, then move on to 10+. So, that means you won’t need to worry about having MaxPass or FASTPASS tickets for them, either. Once inside the parks, I recommend getting acquainted with the
Baby Care Centers, located in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. These centers are a great place to nurse, feed, change, or simply take a break and regroup. You can also purchase baby necessities, like diapers, formula, bottles, and pacifiers, in their convenient vending-style machines.
As you’re searching for the most family-friendly attractions and entertainment, check out this
helpful planning guide. You can also
filter the list of attractions by height, in order to view which attractions are open to even your smallest Mouseketeer. Some of my children’s favorite attractions as babies were “it’s a small world”, Disneyland Railroad, Casey Jr. Circus Train, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
If you’re traveling with another adult or Guest over the age of 14, you can also take advantage of
Rider Switch, which allows the adults in the group to take turns watching the little ones while the other rides the attraction.
See ya’ real soon!
Kristin
