I can't decide if I should bring my own stroller or rent one. Is it difficult to lug around your own stroller at the park? Are the rental strollers roomy?

I've brought my own stroller and rented one, and they both have their pros and cons.

If you bring your own stroller, you will have transportation for your child from the bus or car into the parks and of course all throughout the parks, which means no carrying a sleeping child. When I rented a stroller, my son fell asleep in it at the end of the night and we had to carry him all the way from the park to the bus, and he got pretty heavy. I bought a stroller just for my next Disney trip, the Volo, which has tall handles, a storage area and is lightweight. This was great for those times when my son just walked and didn't need the stroller. It was easily transferable.

However, renting a stroller is also great because the Disney strollers are roomy for the kids, have an area for storage, an area for holding your drink and roll nicely. The best part of renting a stroller is that you don't have to ever carry a stroller around or worry about bringing it back and forth to the park each day. You can simply rent the stroller when you arrive and drop it back off when you leave, which is great if you don't wan to worry about lugging a stroller around on the bus or monorail.

Personally I prefer to bring my own stroller and use a lightweight one so I can have it with me for the duration of the trip.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
