I cannot stand for long periods of time. I use a cane to help me walk around when I visit Disneyland. They recently changed their policy regarding who gets priory access or return to line access for quests with disabilities. Did WDW do the same?

    Hi Laura:

Disney World updated their Guest Assistance Card and replaced it with the new Disability Access Service Card (DAS).  The change is less about who gets priority access and more about how priority access is administered.

You can request a DAS card at Guest Relations.  With the DAS card, you will receive a return time for attractions based on their current wait time.  There isn't a strict return time frame (unlike with FastPass+), so if you see that the line is too long when you return to ride, head to another attraction and return later.  You can also use the DAS card in addition to FastPass+, which may help speed things along.

Check out these FAQs for more information on the DAS card.

    Enjoy your vacation.
