You cannot share meals with the dining plan, is that correct? However, is it possible to mix and match using dining plan sit downs (some in party use dining credits and others pay cashier). Is there a ball park break even $ amt for sit-downs?

    Hi Rick,

You are correct, sharing is not permitted when using the Disney Dining Plan at Table Service meals. However, you can choose to have some people at your table use credits while others pay out of pocket. Simply inform your server as soon as you sit down which of you will be using the Dining Plan. They will give you 2 separate checks that way. I recommend taking some time and looking over the various restaurant menu's in order to get a general idea of how much money you will need. It can vary greatly depending on where you dine and therefore it is hard to give you an accurate average bill. I tell guests to plan on approximately $13 per person for Quick Service meals (including a drink). For Table Service, you should plan on around $40 per adult on average. It can be higher at the signature restaurants or fancier meals. The buffets are a set price, which makes it easier to budget. You can call 407-WDW-DINE to get those prices for each buffet meal. You can browse the various restaurant menus to get a ballpark price for what you think your family will eat as well. As I said, it can really vary greatly.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
