What is the cancellation policy for booked vacations?

Hi Connie!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I understand that sometimes a vacation where the Magic is Endless requires a little magical assurance.

The cancellation policy for a booked Walt Disney World Resort vacation varies based on specifics.  With the information you provided, I will do all that I can to outline general terms and conditions for different booked vacations and provide you with additional support if you require further confirmation.  Please be aware that any terms and conditions I provide are valid as of January 2, 2017 and are subject to change without notice and are only applicable to vacations booked through Walt Disney World directly.  Please contact the third party vendor if you purchased your vacation anywhere other than Walt Disney World.

VACATION PACKAGES (room plus tickets, dining, etc.)
-A cancellation made 30 days or more prior to arrival is refundable.  This may not include non-refundable air transportation or other optional additions.
-A cancellation made 2-29 days prior to arrival is refundable as above, minus a $200 cancellation fee.
-A cancellation made 1 day or less prior to arrival or no-shows is non-refundable.

    ROOM-ONLY RESERVATION
-A cancellation must be received at least 5 days prior to your arrival date to receive a refund.

You may cancel or modify your reservation online by signing into your Disney account and selecting the Cancel or Modify Reservation link.  If you would prefer to cancel or modify your reservation by phone, you may contact (407)939-7429.

Any other types of reservations, such as dining or tours need to be cancelled separately.

Please contact the number above if you have any further specific questions or concerns.

    Have a Magical Day!
