Hi from Canada! My family of 4 and another family of 6 are flying in to the Sanford int. airport. IF we stay at a WDW resort will we have access to a free shuttle from the airport? If so, what resort would you recommend for those numbers on a budget?

    Hello Lee-Anne,

Greetings, my fellow Canadian and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Unfortunately, Disney's Magical Express is only available for Guests arriving at Orlando International Airport (MCO).There is no complimentary shuttle to Walt Disney World Resort from Sanford International Airport (SFO).

My friend Anne recently answered a question about transportation to Walt Disney World Resort from Sanford International Airport, and she said that renting a car was the best choice for her family. If that's not an option for your party, there are several privately owned shuttle/limo services that would be more than happy to assist you.

If you haven't yet chosen your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, I would recommend looking into Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's All-Star Music Resort.  These are both Value Resort Hotels that have Family Suites available for larger parties, which would be perfect for the family of 6 that is travelling with you.  You may also appreciate the extra space and amenities for your family of 4! If you're looking for a more economical option, you can also make a request to have connecting Standard or Preferred rooms. Please note that, while your Resort Hotel will make every effort to honour your request, the availability of connecting rooms is not guaranteed.

Have fun planning and please don't hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
