Is there a campfire at POR and what are s'mores? Are they marshmallows which you toast on a stick?

    Hi Jill,

There is indeed a Campfire at Disney's Port Orleans Resort.

Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort are able to celebrate the great outdoors with complimentary campfire activities at the following locations:-

    •Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
•Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House
•Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village
    •Disney's Beach Club Resort
    •Disney's Boardwalk Inn
    •Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
    •Disney's Contemporary Resort
    •Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
•Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    •Disney's Old Key West Resort
    •Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
•Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
•Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
•Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
    •Disney's Yacht Club Resort
•The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
•The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

In my experience (when staying at many of the Resort hotels listed above) at the campfires, marshmallows and wooden sticks are handed out to Guests for them to roast in the fire.

The only place where I have seen s'more kits available to purchase is from the Chuck Wagon Snack Bar at Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

A s'more is a traditional nighttime campfire treat popular in the United States and Canada, consisting of a fire roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwiched between two pieces of graham cracker.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
