    Rob from AB Asked

When does the 2020 calendar open up so that we can start planning our next trip?

Hiya, Rob! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’m thrilled to report that the 2020 Disneyland Resort Hotel rates and Vacation Packages are currently available for booking through December, 2020. So, the calendars are ready for you to start mapping out your magical plans! Dates for the following year are typically released in the first two weeks of August, but can vary each year.

Have you decided where you’d like to stay yet? You can’t go wrong with any of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels! I love the convenience and luxury of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, but I also adore the classic Disney nostalgia and modern amenities of the Disneyland Hotel! The surf-inspired vibes of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel are also fun for the family.

Also, don’t forget to start booking your dining reservations up to 60 days before your vacation. Character Dining can be a special experience, and my favorite option is Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn. It’s a great way to meet classic Disney Characters while also enjoying a delicious and hearty breakfast buffet!

Last but not least, be sure to download the Disneyland app before your arrival. This app is my favorite handy helper inside the parks! Use it to make Disney FASTPASS selections via Disney MaxPass, or to check wait times. You can even use it to find your favorite Characters, or mobile order food and drinks.

Please stop by with any additional planning questions you may have… I’m all EARs!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
