We have 2 cabins for 8 people. Can we change who is in what cabin on different nights?

    Dear Denise,

Thank you for stopping by to visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

How exciting that you will be staying in The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort on your trip! They are so much fun and will allow plenty of space for your party of 8 to spread out!

Do you mean that you would like to officially change the parties from cabin to cabin on different nights, or just that you might want to have a friend "sleep over" in your cabin one night? If you want to officially change parties each night, that would be treated like a new reservation for each change and you would need to give a call to 1(407)W-DISNEY to check on that. If you just mean that you want, for example, one of your child's cousins to stay in your cabin one night, that's not a problem at all and doesn't need to be done officially.

Be sure that you're not exceeding the sleeping limit of 6 people per cabin, and also be aware that if a guest is not registered to a particular cabin, their MagicBand won't work there.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
