Are the cabanas at castaway cat on the family beach? Looking at video they seem to be a ways from the beach. TY.

    Hi Susan!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You must be thinking about booking one of the private cabanas on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay! The private cabanas are a hot commodity and there's no question why. If you're lucky enough to reserve one, you'll have your very own home away from home, loaded with amenities, on the sandy beaches of Castaway Cay for the entire day!

The Family Beach Cabanas are located at the very end of Castaway Family Beach. Beach Cabana #1 is located near Pelican Plunge and the rest of the cabanas are lined up alongside it down the beach. To reach the private cabanas, you'll need to get off the tram at the Pelican Point Tram Stop and then check-in for your private cabana on Castaway Family Beach at the Cabana Check-in booth. Your private hideaway will be just a short walk from there!

There are also private cabanas located on the adults-only beach, Serenity Bay. The Serenity Bay Beach Cabanas are for Guests 18 years of age or older and accessible by transferring trams at the Pelican Point Tram Stop. You'll exit the tram and hop onto the Serenity Bay tram which will take you the rest of the way up the island to the adults-exclusive beach!

Susan, I'll be sending you tons of pixie dust around the time when your advance booking window opens! Hopefully, you'll be able to reserve a private cabana while visiting Castaway Cay!
