    Dalillia from NY Asked

Hello there. We are buying tickets online and there are 6 of us but 1 is a child age 2. Do I need a ticket for her?

Hello Dalillia, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a very important question.

I am so happy to hear that your princess will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort soon. That is really the cutest age to have her first magical experience at a Disney Theme Park. Since your princess is 2, she will be considered to be Mickey’s Special Guest until she turns 3, she would not require a valid admission theme park admission ticket at this time. When you are making your FastPass+ reservations, there is no need to reserve an experience for her since she does not require a ticket.

However, you will want to include her in your advance dining reservations for all table service, signature dining, Character dining and dinner show experiences. She will be able to dine from your plate at no charge, but you will need to include her in your reservation. This will assist Cast Members when they are planning to seat your party.

Be sure to check out our guide for planning a trip with little ones. You will find a lot of tips to help make your princess’s first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, even more magical. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
