Buying APs in Feb for Trip in Aprl/May -already booked/paid for room at POP. How do I find out of there is an "AP rate" for my res at POP? If so and it is cheaper, can I get refund of difference? Only way to activate APs bought online is at par

    Hi Joshua!

Thanks for stopping by with your great question.   I had the same questions as you last year when I was planning a trip in November but would not purchase my Annual Pass until about a month before my vacation.   I was able to call Disney reservations at (407) 939-1869 and ask to book a room with the Annual Passholder discount.  You should have no problems doing the same, a Cast Member will be glad to price out those rooms and see if he or she can adjust your existing reservation in order to have the discount applied.  The Annual Pass must be in the same name as the Guest whose name is on the  room reservation, and the credit card used to reserve the room must match the Annual Passholder as well.

When I arrived at Walt Disney World I was able to let the Cast Member at the front desk know I had purchased an Annual Pass and showed my confirmation, once I activated the Annual Pass I brought it back to the check-in desk and a Cast Member verified it's status and made a note in my reservation.

Joshua, I will also be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in May and I was able to apply a great Annual Passholder rate to my reservation.   I hope you are able to secure one as well.   I love my Annual Pass and I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have.

    Have a Disney Day,
