    Jodi from CA Asked

Can I buy someone, whom is not in my party, a meal with my dining credits at a table service restaurant?

    Hi Jodi!

Thanks for dropping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to help answer your Disney Dining Plan question!

I'm happy to hear you'll be making the most of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation by using the Disney Dining Plan. My family loves the ease and convenience of having our meals taken care of before our vacation, and it really saves time and money!

When your participate in the Dining Plan, you'll be allotted a certain number of Quick Service, Table Service, and Snack entitlements, per person, for each night of your resort stay (depending on which dining plan you choose). You are more than welcome to use those entitlements at your discretion - including purchasing meals for those not in your party. You'll need to make sure to include those Guests when making your dining reservation, and then let the server know that you want to use your entitlements to purchase their meal.

My husband and I dined with some sweet friends at the Rose and Crown Dining Room in Epcot on our last Walt Disney World vacation. Our friends were on the Dining Plan, and took care of our meal. It was an amazing meal, and such a kind gesture!

You'll be able to keep track of your dining credits in two ways:

    1. Remaining entitlements will be printed on your dining receipts.
    2. You can stop by any Guest Relations window or your Resort Concierge to check your remaining entitlements.

I hope this helps with your planning. Enjoy your time with your friends, and I hope you enjoy using the Disney Dining Plan! - Diane W.
