i want to buy mickey ears for my grandparents when i am at Disney world but if i buy them on shopDisney.com it only lets you do a certin amount of letters is it the same at the parks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Grant! I can’t think of a more magical place to visit with family and friends! The Walt Disney World Resort offers so many fun activities for everyone in the family! Thanks for sending us your question.

When it comes to purchasing Mickey Ears and personalizing them, you definitely have more options when it comes to fonts and stitching colors at the theme parks. While the sizes of the actual letters will be the same, a Cast Member I spoke to explained that certain fonts may allow for more letters. You can always ask a Cast Member at the embroidery station, at the shop offering the service, about all of the options available to you. They will be happy to help!

There are a few places you can visit to have your goods embroidered. Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories at Disney Springs embroiders all kinds of merchandise. At Epcot, you can visit Mouse Gear in the heart of Future World. The Chapeau, Big Top Souvenirs and Fantasy Faire at the Magic Kingdom Park, are also great places to have Cast Members embroider your goodies before you leave the theme parks.

Grant, did you know that if you’re having goods personalized at locations at Epcot or Magic Kingdom Park, you can arrange for your merchandise to be taken to the entrance for convenient pick-up as you exit the park? Also, guests of Disney Resort hotels can have merchandise delivered to their hotel. Staying within the magic really does have its perks!

Just let the retail clerk know that you’d like to use any of these services while you’re checking out and the arrangements can be made very easily.

I hope this information is helpful. Don’t hesitate to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions!
