    Jason Asked

I want to buy a 1 day pass to Disney World as a gift and would rather buy the actual ticket and not a gift card. Since it is a gift I do not know when they will use it. Does the 1 day ticket expire or does it never expire until it is actually used?

    Hi Jason,

When you buy a park admission ticket to Walt Disney World, this ticket will not activate until you use it at the park.  This is true for any length of ticket.  So you can purchase a one day park ticket as a gift, and the lucky recipient can use this tomorrow or 5 years from now.  Disney will honor all tickets as long as they do not expire.  Depending on the type of ticket you buy, you will have the option to add  "no expiration" to it to last for years.  This is not applicable for a one day ticket.  What a wonderful gift you are choosing to give, Jason!  Please let me know if I can help you further.
