If I buy a 5 day park pass, can I begin my days BEFORE my scheduled arrival date at a resort? We will be staying off property with family for the first half, then just my family will be going to resort for last half?

    Hello, Paula!

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In short? The answer to your question is YES!

When Guests purchase Theme Park Tickets for a visit to Walt Disney World, they pick the first date of their first use, so you will be able to start exploring all of the fun the parks have to offer on the date of your choosing, regardless of where you'll call "home" at that time.

You'll be able to link those park tickets as well as your later Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account, enabling you to keep track of all of your plans so easily.

Think of your Theme Park Tickets as a separate purchase from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation. If you make them, your FastPass+ plans will be connected to your Theme Park Tickets, and all of your account details--Theme Park Tickets, FastPass+, Advanced Dining Reservations, even a purchase of Memory Maker, A Disney PhotoPass Product--will be viewable in that My Disney Experience account. You'll even be able to keep track of all of this on your smartphone using the My Disney Experience mobile app. So helpful!

Happy planning, Paula! Have so much extended family fun as you visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. As you plan your stay, be sure to send us more questions, too. We love to help!
