Can you buy a boogie board at first port and return on ship with it kept in stateroom, not for use in pools. Just to have at other ports? Site says “wave boards” prohibited. We cruise April 14th on Fantasy. Thanks!

    Ahoy, Jennifer!

Thanks for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel as you prepare for your voyage aboard the Disney Fantasy! Oh my goodness, your cruise is just one month away! Eeee! Have you started packing your treasure chests, yet? Even though I've cruised with Disney in the past, I still reference the Packing List for Disney Cruises before each upcoming voyage.

It sounds like you or someone you're traveling with has a love for water and adventure! I'm so glad you double-checked before purchasing a boogie board at one of the ports of call because, unfortunately, boogie boards, surfboards and wave boards may not be brought onboard. Even though you wouldn't be planning on using it in the pools onboard, boogie boards can't be brought onto the ship.

Some of the splashtacular Port Adventures have water sport equipment rentals available for Guests! For example, during your stop at Cozumel, the Cozumel Beach Break has an opportunity for Guests to rent additional equipment to use in the water. You may be able to rent a boogie board! While checking out each Port Adventure, take a look at the "Know Before Your Go" section at the bottom of the excursion's description for more information regarding the particular activities available.

Jennifer, I'm wishing you a cruise filled with pixie dust and fun! If you can think of any future questions before setting sail, please come back and visit us again!
