Can I buy autograph books from Epcot before the park is open? We have a princess breakfast booked on our first morning.

    Hi Jessica,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. The princess breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is such a regal and magical way to start your Walt Disney World vacation!

I just love that you are thinking ahead to be sure you have autograph books. They are a must-pack park essential for my family, and we love looking through the books when we’re home and reminiscing about all the wonderful character encounters. I have a few suggestions for you for finding autograph books before that pre-park opening breakfast.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, your resort gift shop will carry the autograph books. You could always pick one up when you arrive so you’re ready and don’t need to stop that first morning. Similarly, if you are flying to Orlando, I’ve seen them in the Magic of Disney store in the airport.

If you’re arriving with time to spare the day before, you could plan to have a meal, or even dessert and coffee, at Disney Springs, and stop at the World of Disney store there to purchase an autograph book.

If you do need to make the purchase that morning, there is usually a cart located at the park entrance that sells the park essentials like hats, sunscreen, Minnie Ears, fans, and sunglasses. A Cast Member told me those carts are open before the parks open, but there are no guarantees. The Gift Stop, located near the monorail, should be open about 30 minutes before park opening; I would check the store hours against the park hours for your date to be sure.

I hope I’ve given you some options that will work with your schedule, Jessica. Enjoy every minute of that lovely breakfast!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
