If you buy an annual ticket is the start date the first day you use it? Can you book fast passes in advance prior to activating?

    Hi Victoria,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

As a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, I can confirm that the date that you first use your Annual Pass to enter a Theme Park becomes your Pass’ “anniversary” date, regardless of when you first purchased it.

You can absolutely make your FastPass+ selections prior to your first visit with your Annual Pass. If you purchased it online, you will be able to link it to your My Disney Experience account. Once you’ve linked it, then you’ll be able to make your FastPass+ selections, just as if it was a fully activated pass. If you have any issues, please don’t hesitate to contact Walt Disney World Resort for assistance.

    Have a Magical Day,

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
