If I buy an annual pass and link the voucher # to my resort reservation, does that constitute 'activation' or does first use at a park activate the 365 days? If I've linked the voucher #, do I still need to show the voucher at the park?

    Hi Jill!

I purchased my first Walt Disney World Annual Pass in 2014 and I LOVE it!   Not only do I get 365 days of admission to the Most Magical Place on Earth, I also get some great Passholder benefits such as merchandise discounts  and savings on Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  I hope you enjoy your purchase as much as I have.

You will be able to link your voucher number to your My Disney Experience account as soon as your purchase is complete.   Doing this will allow you to make Disney FastPass+ selections.   You will still need to stop by Guest Relations at any of the 4 theme parks or Downtown Disney to activate your Annual Pass when you plan on using it for the first time. Linking your voucher number will not activate your Annual Pass.    I purchased my Annual Pass last July but did not activate it until my first visit to the parks in November.   I have until November to use my current Annual Pass before I need to renew it.

I hope this has helped to answer your questions Jill.   As always we love to help Guests plan magical visits, so stop by again anytime you need some help.
