I want to buy an annual pass for December 8 but has a blackout day, could i still enter the park when i purchase it that same day ?

Hi there, Justinne! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.

I am delighted that you are considering purchasing an Annual Passport! Visiting the Disneyland Resort all year long certainly sounds like a dream come true to me. Plus, you get all sorts of perks like discounts on food and merchandise, advance access to buy tickets for special events, Annual Passport-specific merchandise, and more. If you purchase your Annual Passport at a Disneyland Resort ticket booth on a blockout day, you are generally given a one-time exception to visit the parks on the day you purchase your pass. Keep in mind, though, that this is subject to change at any time and could depend on park capacity.

If you’ll be purchasing a pass that is available only to southern California residents, be sure to bring along your government-issued ID to prove residency. Also, before you arrive, consider adding Disney MaxPass to your Passport if you are purchasing a pass type that doesn’t have this included. MaxPass is an incredible time-saver and since you’ll be going so often, you will definitely want to take advantage of this great service during every trip.

I hope this information was helpful. Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
