Bus at Bus Stop location at resort

Are there any buses with their own transportation route?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Emily! The bus transportation at Walt Disney World Resort is quick, direct and something you’ll use everyday when you visit with your family! My kids love to sit in the back, elevated over other passengers to see the roadways outside. They love to spot the fun billboards during the ride.

You’ll find that most of the Disney buses typically run directly from the Parks back to the Resort Hotel. There are few exceptions, like when a Resort will share a bus with it’s DVC (Disney Vacation Club) sister resort, like Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Often, the bus will make two very close together stops at the main hotel as well as the DVC village before zipping off to it’s destination, like Magic Kingdom. Otherwise, you’ll find that many buses go back and forth directly. If you are speaking about Disney’s Magical Express buses, those buses typically make 1-3 stops during it’s rounds from MCO Orlando Airport. In the busiest of times, the bus may only make one stop, but it’s typically three stops until the bus is empty. The routes may change from time to time. The longest I was ever on a Disney’s Magical Express bus was two hours from touching my MagicBand at the stanchion to stepping foot off at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It can take a bit of time if you are the last stop, but you will be comfortable the entire way!

If I can help answer any more of your transportation questions or help you and your family find the perfect activities for you, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
