Bus transportation at Disney World: we are staying at the Movie hotel. What time does the bus stop running? Should we use our car to go to another resort hotel?

    Hi Shelley,

One of the best perks for guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel is the ability to use Disney's complimentary bus, monorail and boat transportation to get you everywhere you need to go. For me, there is nothing like kicking back, relaxing and letting someone else do all of the driving while on vacation.

As you will be staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, bus transportation will be provided from your Resort to all four Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, the two Water Parks, and Disney Springs. In general, Disney's complimentary bus transportation to each Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park starts running approximately 45 minutes prior to opening time, continuing up until one hour after closing time. Bus transportation from your Resort to Disney Springs, where you will find a vast array of shopping, dining and entertainment options to suit every member of the family, generally operates until 2 a.m. each day.

Unfortunately, there is no complimentary direct transportation between Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Instead, you would first have to take a bus from your Resort hotel to a Theme Park, Water Park, or Disney Springs, and then transfer to another bus providing service to whichever Walt Disney World Resort hotel you wished to visit. Therefore, if you will have access to a car during your stay, this is one occasion where you may wish to use your own vehicle as opposed to taking Disney's complimentary Resort transportation. As a Walt Disney World Resort hotel guest, you will have complimentary self-parking privileges throughout Walt Disney World property, subject to potential capacity limits in the parking lots of some Resort hotels.

    Magically Yours,
