Bus or car? I'm going to the WDW in start feb 2014 and are in doubt about where to stay. I have narrowed it down to Wilderness Lodge or Port Orleans French quarter. Easy transport to the parks is important. Have heard that busses can take hours.

    Hello Stefan!

You ask a popular question, and one that really depends on personal preference.  Walt Disney World transportation is fantastically convenient.  The transportation process is very easy, as per your own requirements.  Buses usually come within 20 minutes or so of the last bus departure.  Of course, there can be exceptions.  If you do choose to rent a car, you will have free parking at all parks as a guest of a Walt Disney World Resort.  If you choose to stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you would catch a boat from the boat dock there in order to get to Magic Kingdom Park.  It's a lovely journey.  For all other parks, you would take a direct bus from Wilderness Lodge to your destination.   Buses will also transport you to all parks from Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter.  The Sassagoula River Cruise transports guests from the Port Orleans Resorts to the Downtown Disney area.  Personally, I like not having to worry about having a car on my Walt Disney World vacations.  However, if you want to get to the parks ultra quickly each day you might prefer that car rental.  Both resorts you are considering are really fabulous and uniquely themed.  You can't go wrong either way.

Please let me know if I can help answer any other vacation planning questions. I'm always happy to help.

Until then I wish you a magical vacation!
